I’m not quite sure where to begin talking about my Dad! He has had a long, but brave journey with Motor neurone disease. At each point he encountered difficulty he met it with courage and a smile. He has always encouraged Sarah and I to work hard, be our authentic self and follow our instinct to guide us in life. He enjoyed spending time in company and making people laugh. Football, in particular and golf were his passions and he has a healthy collection of medals and trophies to show for his efforts, that will certainly inspire his grandchildren. I have very fond memories of childhood holidays and his willingness to get down and dirty in the sand, speed off on a jet ski with me screaming on the back or spend time splashing in the pool. Simple family pleasures that I will savour with my own children. Dad, you will be sorely missed and forever engrained on my heart. Be at peace xxx
