Iona 1st May 2020

The loss of my younger Brother has hit me very hard and made me reflect on our lives together as children in Beckenham, to our teenage years that Ian loved to share so many stories of in recent years, especially my red bike he borrowed and crashed all without my knowledge! Then his maturing into adulthood and the closeness he had in the early years of my Son Mark's life and the love we both had for our Mother, who instilled in us family values and a drive to succeed. The sadness we both felt at losing her to MND the comfort we had for each other. I was so proud of his successful career in the City and his many achievements, all done in his unique style and always with a sense of humour. I will always remember the times we had together and his ability to always have fun and enjoyment, especially if he had a beer in his hand. He was determined to enjoy himself for as long as he could and Sarah & Anna ensured he was so well looked after and comfortable for his last few years, something I will always be grateful for. Will always remember you my Brother, with all my love Iona xxxxx
